The Adobe Brick Making Workshop in Mamre (25th May 2009) was a full success. Alot of young people from the community that turned up at the workshop were enthusiastic to learn more about this traditional building method. For the next 4 weeks 10 people will be producing 30 000 bricks for the future Info Centre of Mamre. The project is funded by the City of Cape Town and is part of the Mamre Revitalization Project.
