Modest suburban going green for Mr and Mrs Bezuidenhout.

The existing house was built in clay fired brick. The works consisted of joining up between 2 parts of the house, opening up the interior, new bathrooms and a new upstairs study. We recycled the bricks taken from the demolitions to supplement our supply of new bricks, which were mostly used for the upstairs addition.

Featured green aspects include passive solar design, solar energy, succulent planted roof, natural plasters, non toxic finishes and grey water recycling, rainwater harvesting, moon phased harvested & recycled timber.
