New Staff Eco housing for Twin Streams Environmental Centre, (WESSA) funded by Mondi Forests – Mtunzini, KZN.
Sandbag construction with local timber pole harvesting with the following green technologies included compost toilets, solar water heating, passive solar design, rainwater harvesting, grey water treatment.
NOTE: In 2004 this project was awarded a “Sustainable Building Best Practice award for Africa by the Union of African Architects”
